We need to talk about something else concerning Maisie, though, and that’s the major bombshell that Fallen Kingdom drops about her and just kind of leaves hanging there: She almost certainly is a human clone of the daughter of Benjamin Lockwood, which … wow. She definitely showed some moxie by trying to figure out what Eli Mills was up to, but when things got too horrific later on, she went and hid under her covers. Yet perhaps the best part about what the writers did for Maisie (played by Isabella Sermon) is that they wrote her convincingly as a child. Fallen Kingdom introduces us to Maisie Lockwood, who is certainly no exception. Maybe they’re only really in the scripts to appeal to younger audience members, but they tend to be smart, brave and resourceful. Though they’ve taken some flak from fans over the years, the kids from the Jurassic Park/Jurassic World movies have mostly been pretty great.
